At present T.I. works within many sectors of industry including; motorsport, aerospace, biomedical, geophysical, laboratory, oil and gas, power and renewables to name but a few. Variety is definitely the spice of life and T.I. enjoy a diverse client spread and the challenges that come from working on such a broad range of projects and materials.
The time served workforce are involved with every aspect, with free thinking and creative input always encouraged. This attitude has gained T.I. trust and respect with clients, especially when it comes to specialised one-offs and prototyping.
Another field in which T.I. are proud to work is the heritage sector, undertaking design and production for rail, road, stationary and marine steam equipment. Both Managing Director and Works Manager are custodians of road steam engines.
From purely manual machining beginnings the company is now largely CNC lead, however T.I. still maintain a manual machine shop as well as fabrication and assembly facilities.
